Why does my iPhone photo upload as an HEIC with a random name?

iPhones use HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) as the default format for photos. StackerScan supports HEIC but a generic filename is assigned. To preserve a filename of your choice, convert your photo to a standard JPEG before uploading using Quick Actions in Finder (Mac) or the Files app (iPhone).
