Our Story
A West-coast software engineer, a Texan stacker, a Midwest prepper, and a problem. Years of built-up purchases from local coin shops and online dealers left us with opaque stacks and no easy way to understand their value and composition. What were our holdings, costs, weights, real-time value, ROI, performance over time, and all the other minutia we want to see for each purchase? Investment portfolios, 401k's, stock and real estate assets—they're quantifiable, trackable. But stackers had been left with pieced-together spreadsheets and the perpetual Reddit question: does anyone know an app to organize and track my stack?
Enter the solution! Built for our own use, StackerScan soon insisted on being let out in the wild. Hundreds, thousands of stackers like us could use this technology. Plus, it's a final nod to what we've insisted all along: physical precious metals are a legitimate, integral part of any well-designed portfolio.
The app is secure because our CTO's day job is software engineering and enterprise architecture for the world's largest corporations. It uses frontier AI tech because we want to deliver practical results for the common man. Privacy and anonymity are built in because we are stackers ourselves and get it. And the low cost? We just want to help you prove to the world that metals are the original money and aren't going anywhere. As citizens, StackerScan is our civic contribution to the stacking community and the sovereignty, wealth, and freedom of all.

StackerScan will remain secure and privacy focused. We never extract personal information from your receipts. You can use an anonymous username, opt out of storing receipts on our server, and maintain complete control over your data. Built with enterprise-grade security, StackerScan encrypts all your data during storage and transmission. We have opted out of our LLM providers training on or storing any customer data. Your investment information is safe and accessible only to you.
